Design Engineer (m/f) in Patras, Greece

As member of a highly qualified team working on a challenging development project in the area of aeronautics, you will be asked to:

  • perform design tasks and calculations under the direction of Project Manager
  • lead the conceptual design procedure
  • design mechanical systems and assure their flawless operation, in accordance with the corresponding technical specifications
  • optimize the weight and performance
  • perform kinematics analysis of components
  • perform design reviews, based on the mechanical and / or aerodynamical analysis
  • handle customer enquiries
  • cooperate with external and internal experts
  • deliver 3D Design files in Solidworks CAD
  • prepare the Bill of Materials (BoM) for the developed components
  • prepare Technical Reports

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • very good knowledge of Mechanical Design
  • experienced user of Solidworks CAD software
  • working experience as Design Engineer is necessary
  • experience in aerospace industry is a plus
  • able to perform both 2D and 3D design modeling
  • persuasive power and ability to work in a team
  • flexible and open minded with good communication skills
  • able to work under pressure and to meet the required deadlines
  • very good English skills

  • optimize the weight and performance, based on the initial design procedure
  • perform kinematics analysis of components
  • perform mechanical re-analysis, based on the design
  • >propose improvements, based on the initial analysis
  • handle customer enquiries
  • cooperate with external and internal experts
  • deliver Finite Element results
  • ensure that the end product withstands all the operating loading conditions
  • prepare Technical Reports

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • very good knowledge of Mechanical Stress Analysis
  • experienced user of ANSYS or other similar analysis tool
  • working experience as Stress Engineer is necessary
  • experience in aerospace industry is a plus
  • able to solve Finite Element models and interpret their results
  • persuasive power and ability to work in a team
  • flexible and open minded with good communication skills
  • able to work under pressure and to meet the required deadlines
  • very good English skills

  • First working experience in the related field
  • Experience in MS Office-Tools and CAD-Tools (TRIBON, Unigraphics NX)
  • Good English skills, German would be an advantage

Technical Author (m/f) – Wind Energy in Gera or Hamburg

Your tasks:

  • Create, maintain and review technical documentation such as manuals, technical data sheets, product descriptions and software
  • Responsible for the development and standardization of documentation and design documentation processes
  • Work in national- and international project teams on complex documentation projects for reputable manufacturers of the wind energy industry
  • Take relevant standards and guideline into account 

Your profile:

  • Ideally you have a degree in technical documentation and basic knowledge of wind energy / renewable energy
  • First working experience as a Technical Writer as an advantage
  • Ability to identify logistical systems from technical design and construction documents and to provide appropriate logistical documents
  • Newcomers are welcome
  • Good German and English language skills
